This article on the packaging of tea has two kinds, one is in the tea bags, majority is the aluminum foil bag tea bag; the other is the tea bag, making use of PE\/PET. Of course, this does not mean all tea bags are the composite pattern, this article refers to the following two types of tea bags:

Polyethylene is a thermoplastic resin, is odorless, non-toxic, feels like wax, excellent resistance to low temperature performance under normal temperature and insoluble in common solvents, small water absorbability, good performance characteristics of electrical insulation. And polyethylene non-toxic, weather resistance, resistance to chemicals, good stability, low water absorption rate, resistance to acid and organic solvents, but not resistant to hot water soaking, alkali not etc.. So the outer packaging bag made of PE\/PET composite, transparent performance is good, the packing design, can complete the state bag tea.

But in the tea bags commonly used aluminum foil material design, because the tea should be moisture-proof, stale, and aluminum foil material just has these advantages, the general in the tea bags also need good vacuum, ensure the tea seal.
